Recently, our Boffo Building Team has just completed the renovations and build out for the second location of the Organic Learning Academy early childcare centre in Burnaby. We were honored to work with their team to build out their first location and can think of no better recommendation than being asked to work with them again on their next location.
Our team worked together to create a space that is warm, comfortable and above all, functional and durable for small children and their caregivers/instructors. We’ve worked to create a safe outdoor space with rubberized flooring and safety fencing. Interior materials are durable laminate flooring, re-enforced door frames and soft close drawers.
One detail that our team worked closely on was to transition the standard drywall into a more durable plywood material for the lower half of the walls. This ensures all those bumps and knocks from kids, games, toys or activities can help the space age well over time and remain as functional as possible.
