Terry’s core values were nurtured during his very early years of life. Terry was raised in Ca’Rainati, Italy, a small farming community about an hour outside Venice. It is here where he learned the strong work ethic that comes with the farming territory.

But it was landscaping that served as Terry’s point of entry into the construction industry; building rock walls, or the “bones of the garden”, turned into a passion for construction services, property acquisition and development – all a part of the Boffo Family of Companies.

In 1963, Terry began to work with his brother Mario, together forming Boffo Bros Landscape and Construction. Since then, Terry has developed his own niche of companies, encompassing Boffo Homes Inc., Boffo Living Inc., and Boffo Building Inc., among others. Over the last 45 years, Terry has been involved in many projects throughout the Lower Mainland, ranging from single-family homes to 400-home communities.

Terry never strays from hard work, dedication and his strong sense of family. He currently resides in North Burnaby, with his wife of 45 years. He remains a member of the Trevisani Nel Mondo, an association of immigrants from the Trevisio region of Italy, and founder of the Gruppo Society, a Northern Italian folkloristic group dedicated to providing homes for the elderly, homeless and disabled.

Terry enjoys travelling, music and theatre. Terry continues to play an active role within the Boffo Family of Companies, guiding the second-generation development of both his company and his family.
