Another holiday season is here and our Boffo team loves to get out into our communities and celebrate with our friends and families. With so many ways to celebrate – from light displays to guided tours, theatres and restaurants celebrating the season to so much more, here’s a short round up of some of our Boffo favourites. East Van Panto – this holiday favourite is celebrating 10 years this year and our Boffo team is proud to be a Panto Champion. Each year, The Cultch presents a classic fairytale with an East Van twist. It’s a musical song and dance holiday celebration that’s fun for the whole family. This year’s show is The Little Mermaid and follows Ariel and her band as they busk around New Brighton Beach. We’re walking up from our East Van offices this year to catch a show at The York Theatre together as a team as the perfect way to round out 2022.
The Peak of Christmas at Grouse Mountain – a big favourite (especially as it’s so close to our Edgemont Walk townhome community) come explore Santa’s Workshop or have breakfast with Santa at Grouse Mountain. With outdoor skating and an enchanting light walk, this is fun for the whole family.
The Festival of Lights at Van Dusen Gardens – with more than one million lights decorating the 15 acres of the Van Dusen Botanical Gardens, this incredible event is one you won’t want to miss. You can stroll lakeside or wander through the Rose Gardens and finish off your fun with tasty treats paired with holiday music. This event is central for everyone, right in the heart of East Vancouver – steps from our Main Street Eastpark community.
