Summer has arrived in Vancouver, and with numerous events taking place in our neighbourhood, we at Boffo are proud to be a part of this dynamic community. We are dedicated to giving back in meaningful ways. Our support extends to three fantastic local events this summer: the Britannia Micro Footie Program, the Holy Cross Golf Tournament, and Italian Day on Commercial Drive.
The Britannia Micro Footie program is a cherished summer tradition that enables children to enhance their soccer skills, build new friendships, and stay active. Supporting this soccer program aligns with our belief in the positive impact of sports on character development and community building. By investing in the younger generation, we aim to promote a sense of teamwork and resilience, values that we also foster in our own work environment. We also just happened to sponsor Team Italy for this year’s Micro-Footie program so fingers crossed Team Italia also has some success in the Euro Cup this summer!
Another highlight of our summer is the Holy Cross Golf Tournament. As proud members of the Holy Cross community, supporting this annual event is especially meaningful to Boffo. The friendly competition and community spirit were just a bonus, as raising funds for the school’s programs and initiatives was the main goal. Our involvement highlights our commitment to philanthropy and our belief that we can make a significant impact when we come together for a good cause.
Italian Day on Commercial Drive is one of the most anticipated events of the summer. This lively celebration of Italian heritage features music, food, art, and activities for all ages, highlighting our neighbourhood’s rich cultural tapestry. As a company rooted in Commercial Drive, we are delighted to support this event, which celebrates our shared history and the diverse contributions that make our community unique.
